Army boyfriend's coming home but worried I'm not going to get a look in.?

I'm 17, I've been in a relationship for 8 months with my army boyfriend, I haven't seen him for a month and I've been desperate to see him. He's back for the weekend but he says he wants to see his friends and it's also his mum's birthday this weekend so I'm a little worried he won't want to spend as much time with me. I've been feeling really low recently and I can't stop thinking about him and I will be upset if he can't even spend one night with me. I may sound selfish but if any of you have been in a long distance relationship then you will know how hard it is. Any suggestions to how I should deal with this? I've been in a long-distance relationship, and you are absolutely being selfish. He should be spending this time with his family and friends, too. I'd say get your own life so don't just sit around pining over him when he's not with you. In the long run, you'll be more attractive to him. No one wants an obsessive woman.
if he doesnt wanna see u than he probably isnt that into u and i would say leave him, i mean whats the point of being with someone and u never see em especially when they are back for a weekend.
he's met many girls since he's been in the army, his life is changed, you are no more than a memory, i know your life hasn't changed but he is a different person, he isn't interested.
