I've been with my girlfriend for 7 months now, but the relationship is over distance, and we don't see each other for more than a few days a month, and it's agony not seeing her.
I live in london and she lives in canterbury. Due to my parents not being together, i am rarely free on weekends, and she is often busy too. Not being with her is the most painful thing i have ever experienced, but it is worth it for the times that i am with her.
Even though answers will not change my choice about her, i would like to know your opinions. How do i deal with long distance relationships?
i was in a long distance relationship for a YEAR but i never met him and i recently broke up with him. long distance relationships are really really really hard. they make any problem youd have if you were together 10 times worse. you have to be patient and tell urself ull be with soon and think of how happy you will be with that person and how amazing itll be 2 have that one person you love mor ethan anything finally in your arms. itll definently be worth it. but then again its the saddest thing i have ever had to go through to not be there with someone im so close to emotionally. advice:
-communication!!!!(big one)
-control jealousy
-hang in there :)
and if you cant do it, its ok. just tell her you cant handle a long distance relationship and find someone closer to you. trust me it will be extremely hard to do this but i promise everything will be okay.
good luck to the both of you!!! :)
