How do u deal with a long distance relationship?

I'm in an amazing relationship with the man of my dreams,but he lives really far away.He also asked me to marry him,but I don't see how we can be together if he lives in another state.Can anyone help me.How do u deal with a long distance relationship?
I've been there. I was in a long distance relationship for 3 years and him and I are still together and going strong, actaully we're expecting our first little one in May, it's a girl! =] And if he asked you to marry him and you love him and want to be with him for the rest of your life then say yes! Trust me it's well worth the wait to be with the man of your dreams. And you can have a long distance relationship and make it work, it's VERY hard and at times you might feel like giving up, but trust me it's well worth the wait if your truly in love with the other person. Not sure exactly how far you two live apart, but I live in WV and at the time my bf live in Cali, so we were on opposite sides of the US and still made our relationship work, not to say there wasn't a lot of bumps along the way, but it was all worth it, because now we're together and expecting our daughter in May. i live in california, and my bf lives in rhode island... that is true long distance... idk how we make it work, but we do... i guess we are just soooooooo madly in love that we would die with out each other... sex life is obviously non existent... but, he asked me to marry him last night!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i said yes... :D although, it will be quite a while until we actually do get married, i'm in no rush... the worst thing about long distance is that i dont get to wake up to his face and i dont get to fall asleep in his arms... do you know what i mean????..... we both dont need sex to keep our relationship healthy... we both want to, but that is kinda difficult... i knoww for a fact that he loves me for who i am and that i love him for who he is!!! which is new to me... i usually get guys cuz i'm ';easy'; but it's not that... i just dont mind ppl touchin me... it is usually my girl friends that do it anyways... and i'm not bi... so it is no biggy... and i do love the way my bf looks... but i think he has a mental condition cuz he looooooooves the way i look... and we do fight a lot... but it is always like, ';i love you.'; ';i love you more!'; ';not uhhh!!! prove it!!!'; ';ok!!! i love you for evea and always!!!'; lol... lame rite!!!
